Architecture

Layer 1: Ethereum

Ethereum is considered the pioneer of decentralized smart contract platforms. As a base layer, Ethereum provides security and decentralization, crucial for maintaining the integrity of transactions processed via rollups (L2s). Rollups leverage Ethereum's layer 1 security while executing transactions off-chain to achieve scalability.

This dual-layer approach not only improves transaction capacity and processing speed but also upholds Ethereum's commitment to decentralization and security. The integration of rollups into Ethereum’s ecosystem marks a critical step forward in blockchain scalability, enabling a wider range of applications and higher user adoption.

Layer 2: Blast

Blast is the only Ethereum L2 with native yield for ETH and stablecoins. Blast is an EVM-compatible, optimistic rollup that raises the baseline yield for users and developers without changing the experience cryptonatives expect.

This yield makes it possible to create new business models for Dapps that aren’t possible on other L2s. Blast only became possible following Ethereum’s Shanghai upgrade. ETH yield from L1 staking, initially Lido, is automatically transferred to users via rebasing ETH on the L2.

The Y3 token was created as a 404 token standard (compatible to ERC20) and can be mintet via a bonding curve.

Disclaimer: Y3 is not intended as an investment vehicle but solely as a gas token for use within the Yield3 network. Purchasers should be aware that buying Y3 carries the risk of a total loss of funds. Consider your financial circumstances and the associated risks before acquiring Y3 tokens.

Layer 3: Yield3

Yield3 is the first Layer 3 network based on Blast. It uses the Arbitrum Orbit technology and can also be used for your own L3s (Rollup as a service). Any ERC20 compatible token on the L2 can potentially be used as a native gas token of the L3.

For example, if you are developing a game that expects a high transaction throughput and at the same time wants to enable very cheap transactions, a custom L3 seems to be a perfect fit. And you can even use your own token as the native token.

In the Yield3 network, the Y3 token deployed on Blast is used as the native gas token.
